My stay was incredibly disappointing. The room was filthy, with a strong smell of cigarettes, stained carpets and bedding that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. It was also evident that the staff were not honest about the cleanliness of the room, as they insisted it had been cleaned while it was obvious it hadn't.

The unique check-in experience kept me entertained throughout, and the low rate of $50 felt almost worth the memories it created.

The overall ambiance left much to be desired, with the exterior resembling a disheveled area and unsettling noise keeping me awake.

what an absolute joke, the air conditioner didn’t work and it was hotter than the sun. not to mention the stained pillow that should’ve been thrown away ages ago. I was honestly looking forward to a welcome gift, but it seems they forgot I was even here. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

The room was pretty rough. Old carpet, ripped bedspread, and a TV you'd probably find at a garage sale. The air conditioning was ancient and loud, and the bathroom was small with just a bar of soap. Clean enough, but I wasn't too comfy. Lots of noise from outside kept waking me up, and I felt uneasy the whole night. Had to lock the door behind me since there was no key. Definitely not the best experience overall.

I stayed for 1 night and loved the strong WiFi and the big flat panel TV! The place was super clean, but the room could use some updates.

The WiFi was strong and the flat panel TV was large. I appreciated the cleanliness throughout the space. The bed in the Deluxe Room was comfortable for a solo traveler. Checking in was seamless and quick. Overall, a decent place to stay for one night. 😊

the comets motel was affordable and in a rough area, making it memorable. the check-in process was unique, and it was amusing when the staff had to buzz me in like a prison. it's definitely an experience!

Unique check-in process with no keys added some amusement. The neighborhood felt unsafe with lots of outside noise. Room contained dated decor and an old TV. Affordable rates at $50 made this a budget-friendly choice. The bathroom had a small soap and the shower was hot.

Unfortunately, the location grew ominous when stepping outside. the atmosphere was enhanced by barking dogs and late-night shenanigans from drunks nearby. The check-in process without a key felt unsettling, and the room decor was outdated, with worn carpets and distressed bedspreads. Though the air conditioning unit looked ancient, I chose not to use it, fearing it could be louder than the ongoing external commotion.

great walkable access to parks and local attractions

I loved that i could easily stroll to both the watts towers and roy campanella park, making my stay feel connected to the city and its culture while enjoying some fresh air. it was a perfect way to start my days.
